Caladium ‘Gingerland’ NEW
Loved by collectors for its vivid coloured leaves, Caladium ‘Gingerland’ is a tuberous perennial with dramatic, large, lance shaped leaves. This creamy leaves are adorned with cranberry coloured freckles and dark green margins.
Caladiums preform their best when given part shade to indirect sunlight. They prefer a soil mix that will retain a bit of moisture. If they completely dry out you will notice the leaves start to droop.
Caladiums can sometimes not handle being in the post, so keep in mind that you may receive a plant with floppy leaves. They generally bounce back pretty quickly after potting up and watering - they will push out fresh leaves quickly.
Caladiums also go dormant over winter, so keep this in mind as when they do you will need to store the corms in a cool, dry place until spring. If you are unsure how to do this, there are a heap of videos about it on YouTube.
Each living plant is unique and may vary slightly in size, colour or shape.
