Monstera Dubia is a species of plant in the genus Monstera and originates from native to Central and South America. This stunning plant is known for its dramatic foliage. As it maturesfenestrations similar to other Monstera’s appear.

 Care Specks:

Bright to medium light, recommended placement is within a metre of a window

Allow it to mostly dry between waterings but not entirely

Give them well draining soil - adding about 20% to 30% perlite into your standard premium potting mix will do the trick.

The best temperature range for monstera species is 10°C -35°C

Like other vine plants, they are fast growers and benefit from having something to hold on to like a moss pole, or something they can climb, wrapping up and down the pole will give a bushy look.

They propagate from stem cuttings very easily. Just snip below a node, place in water and wait a few weeks and it’s that easy. Fast to root, easy to transplant to soil. This plant is made for propagating given its growth rate!

These guys prefers high humidity. But as with almost all other Monstera (with the exception of Monstera Obliqua), it will also grow in lower humidity well as well.

Toxic to pets!

If allowed to grow upright, this plant develops magnificent holes or fenestrations in the leaves when mature, which are well worth the wait. We recommend training this one up a bark post or totem if you wish to see this develop in your plant.
