Pteris tricolor, also known as the Tricolor Fern or Painted Brake Fern and is a true show stopper with its ribbon like foliage. This fern has unique tricolour foliage hence its name, showing off with a mix of green, bronze and pink hues. The fern is native to subtropical regions like Assam, China and Myanmar.

Care Specks:

These plants partial shade to filtered sun, ensuring protection from afternoon sun.

Allow it to mostly dry between waterings but not entirely

This plant is suited to most climates - talk about adaptable!

Give them well draining soil - adding about 20% to 30% perlite into your standard premium potting mix will do the trick.

These guys are tropical/sub-tropical so prefer high humidity - dark brown, crisp looking marks on leaf edges are usually caused by low humidity.

These ferns are

considered non-toxic for pets

These plants are moderately frost tolerant but are easily killed by hard freezes.

(You will receive a bare rooted plant similar to the one seen in the images.)
