Chamaedorea Elegans otherwise commonly known as Parlor Palm are native to the rainforests of Southern Mexico and Guatemala. 

They require bright, indirect light however can tolerate lower light levels but more light will promote strong growth. It’s best to avoid direct sunlight as these guys are more prone to leaf burn.

Parlor Palms are sensitive to overwatering and cannot tolerate being waterlogged. It’s actually best if the plant is slightly too dry rather than overwatered.

These plants are light feeders. This plant if digested can be mildly poisonous and irritating to pets and people.
