Parodia Magnifica is a stunning ribbed, round cactus that is loved by collectors for the vibrant yellow flowers it produces. It’s often affectionately referred to as the ball or balloon cactus and is a very easy cactus to care for. Originating for the dry and arid areas of Brazil, Parodia Magnifica is a hardened species that thrives on very little care.

☀️This plant requires bright, indirect light but harsh direct sunlight needs to be avoided as this can scorch the leaves.

💧Overwatering can lead to rot, so it's best to allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings.

🍴Use a balanced liquid fertiliser at half strength once a month during the growing season (spring and summer).

✂️This plant can produce offsets that can be used to propagate. Simply remove the offsets, let them callus and then nestle the base into a well draining potting mix. Avoid watering until the plants have put out some roots. Most propagation for this species is done by seed.
