Begonia 'Sir Percy' is a rhizomatous hybrid with stunning pinkish silver foliage suspended on long petioles. The leaves have a slightly rippled texture and are outlined by a dark margin with a red reverse.

This begonia like most prefers bright and indirect light and will grow to being around only 8-12inches tall. Some browning of the edges of the leaves can occur when the humidity is to low. This begonia can tolerate lower humidity levels growing well in humidity levels of 45-65%. Using a terrarium can help achieve this in low humidity climates however isn’t normally necessary as this is a very hardy variety.

Like most begonias this stunner prefers a loose, well-draining soil to ensure adequate air-rating of the roots and ensure its not to stay too wet. To ensure over watering does not occur only water when the top two inches of the potting medium is dry.
