Pilea involucrata ‘Silver’ is a wonderful houseplant featuring heavily textured foliage with deep, spine-like veins. While they are fairly low maintenance and they never lose their silver sparkle their foliage is very delicate and they are relatively slow growing so they prefer sheltered shade gardens or indoors.
This plants is perfect for bathrooms and kitchens, outside on a shaded frost-free patio, accent planting in tropical gardens. It is an ideal plant for terrariums and bottle gardens.
This plant needs to be kept in indirect sunlight or dappled shade. It prefers moist, free-draining soil or a good quality potting mix, and lots of humidity.
